· Only available April to September

· Cleared presentation area (5m x 5m).

· Minimum age for audience is 12 years old.

· Underage audience must be supervised (parents, teachers, guardians) throughout presentation.

· Audience must be wearing closed in shoes.

· Audience must be wearing long pants.

· If outdoors, a shaded presentation area is required for animal welfare.

· If outdoors, a shaded area encompassing audience is required for days with high temperatures (30+ Degrees) expected.

School Incursion

· 30 minute sessions

· Presentation covers: what to do if you see a snake, basic biology and behaviours of the animals, question time.

· 2 snakes + 2 lizards

· Opportunity to pat each of the species.

· Opportunity to hold the largest species of snakes at the end.

· Best suited for younger ages up to 10 years old.

$110 per session (minimum 2 sessions per booking; up
to 10 participants per session);

Additional participants: $7 per person

· Space: We need enough room for the kids to be able to sit in a line or semi-circle so that we’re not stepping over anyone when we bring the animals around.

Birthday Party Display (40 minutes)

· 2 snakes + 1 Lizard

· 30 minute handling display – kids get to touch or hold all 3 animals (photos welcome).

· 10 minutes for parents to hold animals, ask questions and have family photos with reptiles.

· 1 demonstrator

· Only available May to August

· Space: We need enough room for the kids to be able to sit in a line or semi-circle so that we’re not stepping over anyone when we bring the animals around.

· 1 hour presentation

· Presentation covers: Local Perth snake species, what to do if you see a snake, basic biology and behaviours of the animals, snake bite first aid, question time.

· Best suited for kids aged 10+

· Animals include: Dugite, Tiger Snake, South-west Carpet Python, Stimson’s Python, Bluetongue Lizard.

· Opportunity to pat pythons and lizard.

· Opportunity to hold a python at the end.

Reptile Hire for the Arts

· 2 reptiles

· 1 reptile handler to supervise.

$110 per hour

– Additional reptiles: $10 per animal per hour.
– Travel in excess of 30km will incur travel fees.
– Publication Discount Available: 10% off hourly service fee if Slithers & Slides is mentioned as the reptile provider in the credits of all published works.
